Jennifer Ross is a strategic marketer, entrepreneur and career development facilitator with more than 16 years experience. Her career began in a financial accounting training program at JPMorgan Chase, where she then moved into strategic marketing and management roles. By 1995, Jennifer was a Vice President within the Credit Card Marketing division leading large teams, focused on strategic partnerships and the design and start-up of new, innovative revenue channels.
In early 2005, Jennifer knew it was time to take her
strategic marketing expertise and explore her entrepreneurial aspirations. She
left the corporate world, purchasing a local old-fashioned ice cream parlour
and expanded it into a chocolate shoppe. After growing the business and gaining
valuable experience as an entrepreneur, Jennifer focused on developing a
consulting practice focused on developing marketing strategies for businesses.
Since founding Intuitive Marketing, Jennifer has
consulted for startups, solo entrepreneurs and large corporations. Her
company’s client list includes VocationVacations (where you can test drive your
dream job), MasterCard Advisors, Animal Alliance
of Long Island and Comprehensive Career
Planning.
Effective networking is crucial for building supportive
and strong relationships. But Jennifer was never fond of sit down, breakfast or
lunch meetings. She craves activity and loves to ‘walk and talk’ instead. Upon
meeting her business partner, they decided to launch a unique style of business
networking…ActivEntrepreneur, because successful businesses begin with healthy
entrepreneurs.
Jennifer is certified as a Global Career Development
Facilitator. She is active in her
community and has served as a certified speaker with a division of Monster.com
called “Making It Count,” visiting local high schools to discuss career and
college opportunities. Jennifer also volunteers as the business co-chair for
the Sachem School
Business Alliance
and is a member of Ladies Who Launch.
In addition to her work and community efforts, Jennifer’s passions include her family and friends, her pets, her morning walks and maintaining an active, fun, and healthy lifestyle. She is a mother of 3 and lives with her children, husband and dogs in Long Island, New York. Jennifer is focused on creating a flexible and successful work life and inspiring others to do the same.
